WHITNEY WERTS & CO.

It was so much fun working with my very talented friend to help her rebrand her event planning and design business, formerly known as Whitney Werts Events, here in Portland! With a growing team, Whitney thought it was time to redefine her brand and give it a new name - Whitney Werts & Co. We worked together to elevate her branding, giving it an airy, elegant feel to better represent her style and clientele. Check out the design board we put together in the post below, which helped to establish this overall vibe of her brand.

We are so excited for Whitney and can't wait to see her business continue to grow and flourish!

MCKENZIE & SEAN | DENVER WEDDING

I recently had the pleasure of working with LA/SF based event planner, Bash Please, on an incredible wedding for a special couple in Denver, Colorado. It was such a fun project branding McKenzie and Sean's wedding! Their personal logo, which was used on the save the dates, invites and variety of day-of paper goods, was inspired by their initials, M + S, and their outdoorsy spirit. The wedding took place in February, so the moody, yet clean color palette designed by Bash Please, complimented the setting and season perfectly. Take a peek at some images below!

ABELIA FLORAL STUDIO

If you haven't heard of the incredibly talented ladies behind Abelia Floral Studio I have no doubt you soon will! Briley Studdard of Oh Deery Floral and Lauren Clinkscales of The Backyard Bouquet teamed up recently to become one floral superpower flowering in North Texas and beyond! Their style is fine art florals with an English garden, earthly feel juxtaposed with simplistic beauty.

Their name, Abelia, comes from a type of flower in the honeysuckle family. It is a small, sweet little white flower with beautiful greenery. It's elegant while also being a bit wild and organic in style. Just like their work. I incorporated an illustration of this flower in their logo and paired it with a  more traditional serif font and a modern, clean sans serif font. We worked together on an muted, earthly color palette that still felt elegant and clean.

Briley and Lauren were a joy to work with and I cannot wait to see where their amazing work takes them! Be sure to check out their work on Instagram here.
